Newyork harbor bug?....

Wed Apr 08, 2009 6:37 pm

I think I have come across a bug in the Pbem game I am playing, we are playing the 1775 WOI campaign, I am playing the British and I am trying to move Greys army (10,000 men and about 40 guns) by sea to disembark at Philadelphia, they all fit in the fleet fine with some room left to spare, but when I process the turn for some reason the fleet has moved to where it was meant to go but the army has stayed in Newyork.... I also tried this with another small army in Newyork with a different fleet but the same happened... Im sure I remember using ships earlier in the campaign to transport troops and having no problems... I have attached the save game :)

There may be 'stealthy enemy' in NY.
AFAIK, you must click 'evasive move' on the fleet to have troops go with the fleet.

Your 'local commander' doesn't like you removing the troops ;)

Oh, yes. What version are you running?

Confirmed [using pre-beta 1.05 patch], that 'fleet evasive move' successfully allows your troops to go to, um, the port of your choice ;)

Come to think of it.... there is a rebel spy in the New york region.... for some reason I never even thought that he might be the cause... thank you all very much.... now I can get back to recapturing North Amercica for the British empire again :)
