Updater ?

Fri Jul 04, 2008 12:57 am

Maybe because there is no update available, but when I click on the update link I get an error, asking to check my internet connection (pic attached). I have a firewall - AVg but both WIA.exe and updater.exe are allowed. Is this working ?

The link handling the updater is being set by us today. No problem on your side in fact!

Hello,

It is right, there allready a patch available.
But the auto-update system annonce you that you have to check you internet connection. The reason is that the information the software try to get are not at the right place actually, when the new web site has been activated, they forgot to transfert the update data. :innocent:

sorry for that, I think it will be alvailable in the day (french day :bonk :)

Updater Does not Work

Fri Jul 04, 2008 6:24 pm

It is a pity that the Updater does not work thread was closed as I found that the updater does not work. I have downloaded patch from forum without problem.

Once you've installed patch 1.00b from the forum (click here)

The installer works (at least for me). Can you confirm?

Without a 1.00c i can't confirm....all i see is "no new updates available" (if this is the confirmation u look for that's it)

I can confirm instead the splash shows 1.00b correctly.

It seems the unzip DLL was missing for 1.00, so you need to be in 1.00a to autoupdate to 1.00b. The problem should go away naturally, thus. Theoretically speaking, that is ;)

I had the same problem with the updater.

I download the 1.00b patch on the official website and install it... it works fine.
