Marchant de la Houlière duplicate

Sun Aug 10, 2008 6:23 pm

Hi all

French Indian war scenario, the colonel's twin appear in Quebec with some French reinforcement.

One more notice:
I played 2 times this campaign with French side and I noticed AI doesn't mind about Louisbourg. If I remember well from BOA, the Big French reinforcement purpose coming at the very end of 1758 was supposed to give AI more interest in storming the fortress but it so far it doesn't care about it or may be consider it as a minor target ?
If so, I suggest to cancel these reinforcement since they give a strong advantage to French side and are not historically compliant.

Best regards and thanks for this game

Could you please upload the file ScriptReport.txt from the turn he appears?

It is located in the WIA\Scripts directory

Thank you :)

...and I will look into why Louisbourg is unimportant to the AI. It should be very important!

I tried to get the right line but since I am playing year 61 in my current second 1755-63 campaign, I am not sure if I can still get the whole report.
I found the following, but gan't garantee it could be the right one, however I am quite sure he appeared during year 58 with some supply + reinforcement:

Line 3365: SelectFactions, 1 Faction selected: France
Line 3367: Started processing event: evt_nam_Supply_FRA
Line 3367: Event already referenced, current occurences 2 Max allowed: 999 <<Active>>
Line 3370: Fixed date evaluated: 1758/04/01 converted to turn 1900 current turn 1938 False
Line 3375: SelectFactions, 1 Faction selected: France
Line 3396: Finished processing event: evt_nam_Supply_FRA

If that could help :)

nope.

The event(s) will contain his last name.

better:
If you scroll down in messages, you'll see 'manage attachments'

click that, then upload the entire file :)

The graphic is Houliere, but the game text calls him Plantavit. I expect the graphic is wrong for the general.
