Hi folks, can anyone clarify what level of protection is given by stockades?
The manual states "Stockades are small basic field fortifications, to protect a handful of men" - how many is a handful? If I have 1,000 men in a stockade will only x number get any protection? Are the others considered to be outside?

The only thing I know is that stockade gives only 50% of the supply of a fort.

Design intent is for them to be 'small islands of supply and safety'.

Think of them as quickly erected blockhouses...

Thanks lod. I assume the protection given by forts and stockades must be in the code then.

I guess so, from the 'IsFort=' and 'IsCity' lines, plus the inherent Artillery model you see in the screenie...
