Attrition - working as intended?

Hi guys, is attrition working correctly at the moment? I understand the losses should be taken where *deep breath* units move significant distances, or across difficult terrein, or are out of supply or, if the option is selected when outside of a structure... However it seems to be overkill at the moment.
These screenshots show that in the first turn on the 1777 - Saratoga campaign this British force lost over 500 men after an 11 day march along a road in supply. I could understand say 50 or a 100 with maybe some trickleback when they were stationary but this seems too much.
8016 men:
7417 men:
This is with the 'easy' attrition option:

Can you send us the save at
support@ageod.com.. we may have a sometimes too strong attrition and we would like to check it is true in the majority of play examples before we attempt a fix, if need be...

I have the same problem, and first thought it was because I played England. But even moving a single well commanded Union brigade through Union terrain (Massachusetts to Richmond) I lost half a regiment.
Same for ships. They get depleted by moving in any weather.

I've also been noticing large amounts of attrition. Small units are almost completely decimated or destroyed on small marches.

Needless to say i also have this "problem" with attrition. Seems too excessive in my opinion and not really taking into account the terrain and weather since it's huge even in good weather.

This certainly has to do with the 30 day long turns. If at the beginning of your turn you are almost out of supply, it's WAD that troops lose strenght and cohesion due to desertion rates.
Routines about weather are important. Even in winter, there can't be blizzard for a whole month...i hope weather doesn't follow the static pattern.

Surrender to the evidence Hok.
With the release of WiA your life, as it has been is now over.
Resistance is futile.
You will become a Borg, like Pocus. Hybrid human-machine, speaking C++ probably

I would like to reiterate that the attrition of naval units feels kind of excessive too.

The .opt file is missing in [up thru] 1.00b. The model specific factors need work in the Models also.
This will also include ships moving....
Patch is in the works..
