1812 British Reinforcement

An odd thing with the 1812 Grand Campaign, the last year of the war the British keep receiving the same reinforcement for the last six months of the war including the same general multiple times. Not an issue with play, but players may want a House Rule to keep these reinforcements in Quebec.

Can you give details, this never occurred before. Which general is it?

It has never happened before in games I have played either.

It is John Mcdonnoll and the forces he arrives with. We played one game when I was British. This was the first time it happened. The we reversed sides and my opponent also saw this happen.
See if attached screen capture provides sufficient information.

Weird indeed. I checked the event, the McDonnel reinforcement should occur only once in all logic...but it could occur endlessly (which seems what you have) if a parameter in the event was changed by mistake (there is an event called evt_nam_Exile_count which grows by 1 each turn, when it is strictly equal to 3, Mc Donnell arrives...but if the parameter changed from = to >=, then you would have that)...so may your event is not right?

Try replace your event with this one

Excellent. Many thanks. We will fire up a new game today and report back once we get to the event.
