Problem with the creation of the "replay" files

I'm playing with a friend a WIA scenario (the french and indian war) and it does not create the ".rpl" file. We have the same version of the game, the more recent: 1.10e+QF2+patch for the 1812 campaign. We save the game in a folder into the "saves" folder.
Do you know how to resolve the problem?

You have both to activate a checkbox to create replays in the Options Window, Main Menu. Replay slow the game by 20% during hosting.

Excuse me, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I don't see any checkbox related with the creation of replays in the Options Window.
I've tried to replay turns playing against the AI and also it does not work.

I had the same problem. Probably the option doesn't show because it disappeared from the config file.
