All Those Colonials in the FIW "Colonial Faction" Campaign

Fri Apr 01, 2011 1:08 am

Yep, the Colonists generate a lot of units in the 1755-1763 campaign, but I'm finding difficulty in where to put all these militia units. Sure, I can train them into permanent units, and I use Fort Cumberland as one of my training grounds, with George Washington whipping these boys into shape. However, there are all of the colonials that regularly appear in Boston -- these are the men that I have trouble with, as I run out of places to put them. I'd thought about shipping some of them to the southern area, but that's a useless enterprise, as they will either evaporate or turn into cannon fodder.

There are a number of options for this units. One of the most productive is an invasion of Halifax. Taking this fortress was a key aim of this war. The New England colonials make this happen so that an invasion of Upper Canada is possible.
