Recovering Strength Points

Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:34 pm

Hi all,

One thing I am confused about are the requirements for an element to recover strength points. (I.e., not for a unit to receive a whole replacement element, but for an existing element to recover strength points.) Specifically, must there be a replacement chit for that type of element in the replacement pool? I think the answer is no (i.e., that replacement chits are only relevant for units to receive entirely new elements), but the manual is somewhat ambiguous.

I ask because I'm playing the Brits in the AWI scenario and they don't get many replacement chits for regular army elements. Thus, I'm going to be in trouble if my 50% strength regular units won't recover strength points without chits in the pool.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi!

You are right, no need of chits for strength recovery. You just need them to recover or gain full missing elements.
To recover strength you just need to be on a region with a non sieged structure and (this is important ;) ) have your force supply stocks at 100%.
And under supplied force will not recover strength until they top their supply stocks.
Cheers!
