Glad to hear someone is looking for it :)
The finished version should HOPEFULLY be out in a month or so.

Although I haven't played for some time I keep checking this site on a regular basis and after reading the AAR on the Pontiac scenario I thought I would have a change from HOI3/EUIII/CK.

Just a point. The one criticism I have with WAR is that some scenarios (I like to dip in now and again) do not seem balanced. What I mean is I may load up a 6-11 turn scenario play as one side and get an easy win whereas playing on the other side it seems impossible to win.

Some comments would be useful giving an indication of which side to play against the AI. Last save game is 1778 toryindian and it seemed impossible to actually take all the objectives. By the time forces arrive the game is almost over. This kinda puts me off but it might just be me not playin on a regular basis.

Which small scenaios would you recommend as human vs AI. Or which ones would you avoid and why?

Sorry I missed your post zerothehero. After playing the Campaign Series of games where all scenarios are listed as best played against human or against a certain AI side I thought I would do the same with Pontiac (which should be well balanced as Human (British) V AI (Indian) - or for either side against another human)

It's a shame this isn't done for more scenarios. Normally the AI plays best in all computer games as the more defensive side - but which side this is - not always obvious. I've not played many of the other WiA scenarios to be able to comment on balance - maybe somebody else can? I have in the past suggested a forum sticky where people can report scenario results but it has never been done. Some of the very small AGEOD scenarios are I think more about giving players a way to easily learn the game and not so concerned with balance.

Still hoping the final Pontiac version will be available in a few weeks - but it depends on bug fixes.

Cheers, Chris
