What does the message "Cibelle receives bricks " mean?

Aha! i think i know what your are asking about...
Cibelle can be a ship name, and the message means that the ship unit Cibelle has received a "brick" replacement element.
Brick (not bricks) being a small ship type (in fact i think its a different spelling for the Brig type of ship).

I definitely thought the spelling was "brig".

True in English, but "brick" is the French translation, often used in English version for French ships to add 'flavor'...
...hum, and where is home for the AGEOD developers?

I looked at wiki and somewhere it said than brick was the french spelling for brig. Go figure...
In spanish its similarly called brickbarca (literally brick-boat :blink
