hey there... Am I doing something wrong I find that in Civil War and BoA2 I am finding that in order to save a game midway I have to choose a different save name every time. If I dont and I just press save or resume game it either A. Does not even save the game and is not on the load list when I come back in or B. It will be on the list but seems to of loaded it about 4 turns prior to when I have saved it. The only way I seem to get a regular save is to change the name every time when I save it. So when I press the load screen I have already about 20 save game names up there.

Hi!
The "standard" saving procedure is just to click on the save button if you want to save while doing orders.
It works but don't show as a new entry on the saves list.
The game also automatically save each turn and it stores backups up to 24 turns.
On the saved games list you will find just one line for each scenario. Hoover the mouse over the line and you will see a tool tip with the shortcut keys you need to load a previous turn, delete or change names.
Beware: when you go back on, two or whatever turns you will no be able to go forward again ;)

Of course you can change the file names to have different sets of saves, but personally i rarely bother with it. I juts play along and if sometimes want to check different strategies go back one or two turns.

On the saved games screen you will also see a little button (up on the right) that let you see and load the AI save. In other words, load the game as the other side.
