Glitch or Bug?

Mon Jun 08, 2009 5:38 am

My game was going well until I encountered two bugs, one where an army vanishes into thin air, and the other where even though New York is held by Clinton, some light inf. and a cannon, it says it's under US control and I can click on them to move them away.

I have a save for the latter, and if it will let you go back two or three turns, it will show the former.

Kinda kills this game for me, as I'm not sure if everything else is going to be right. But I hope this can be explained or fixed so I can get back to being outsmarted by Washington.

Have just had a quick look at your turn. Looks like "ye olde bugge". I think Lodilefty will need to see this.
I couldn't click on Clintons army in New York and I also couldn't find him in the ledger. It says in the text messages that the population of New York revolted and we lost the city so the unit in the city could be rebels and not Clinton. If he was there with light infantry and guns, then that is not enough to take the city, I think IIRC that regular light infantry will, but not rangers, raiders etc.
Did your vanishing army lose a battle and have nowhere to retreat to ;)

Edit (You need to include the back up files from your save folder to enable people to go back to the turn in question)

Please include all files from the current turn save, and the Backup1 subfolder with its contents
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
