Spharv2: If you plan to go on hollydays during this summer, please tell us now.

Geronimo: NewAgeNapoleon was connected on the forum yesterday. So he is alive, please take contact with him and make clear if he has recovered enough to take charge again.

In doubt, if anyone is volunteer to enter the Grand campaign project to replace Pdt Davis, please apply now.

I'm done with my vacation this summer; that is, I'll be taking the second half of July off from work, but will be home.

As for union orders, I'm working on them and will have them submitted before turning in for the night.

Good, then maybe we will get some reports from their side of things :siffle:

Sorry, I don't mean to put a dig on you guys, but some screens shots and your thoughts would be nice (don't worry about getting the flashy perfect presentation(which are very nice).....the ol'shitty first draft would be wonderful, and then it could be polished latter) :innocent:

I really do appreciate the work that you all are putting in

One thing I've been thinking of, is starting a comment thread for the AAR I'm writing, to have a place where people can ask questions and comment (provided they do so without revealing any info I shouldn't have. I think such a thread would help in getting me to update the AAR properly (kicks in the butt galore!) and I'd like to hear what people like seeing (and not) and if there are things they are missing. Does anyone (especially Korrigan) see any reason not to?

I'd like to do the same. Maybe we can get one for each of us? It's harder to do an AAR without any feedback. Generally, my moves are so limited, that it doesn't seem much use to document every turn, but without feedback, I have no idea. :) The problem would be ensuring that no non-regulation info gets in there, we'd just have to depend on the respondents not to let anything slip.

Indeed, but I imagine that those who might reply to such threads also are familiar with the nature of the project, so I hope the danger of any damage being done in such a way is minimal :)

As long as your thread title is clear enough for other Grand Campaign players not to read it, I'm fine with such a comment/question thread.

A new CSA pdt has voluntered. He gave me his gentleman word he was not reading the GC AARs. His name is AndrewKurtz.

Welcome aboard! :cwboy:

Actually, the CSA is now IN; but I've having trouble with my PC since friday. Hopefully, I'll be able to run the turn tonight but be warned that the hosting is going to be hectic for a month. :p leure:

New turn sent

Harper's Ferry has fallen in confederate hands after 8 days of battle (!).
In the last assault, Nathaniel Bank was facing the ennemy with a single artillery battery as his last men had been wiped out during this bloody week.

Lee is on the move and has successfully repelled his opponent.

Fortunately for the Union bilan, they have taken Corinth.

We move to 1.05g.

Yep, I won't be able to process the turn till August 12th (they have nice cybercafés here but that's all) :cwboy:

So you can take the time to update your AARs...

So far I've received no order from any side. Who has the ORD file in each team right now?

You should have received it. We have not played since you've left for vacations.
