Guess, increasing Delayed Committement setting we should have a reduction of the number of Resolved Engagements per turn. Opposing Forces could stay in place, in the same region, for days before the engagement is resolved.
Also advances and movement could be reduced.
Indeed when I tried increasing Delayed Committement setting value I got an increase of engagements per turn, triggered by enemy forces entering the same region in the turn, with most of them resolved in first days of the week.
It's seems like this setting operates with result opposed to what player is expecting.
It could be worth to check it!
