No Help desk help

Mon Dec 14, 2015 9:45 am

A week ago I purchased "Civil War II" and "To End All Wars" from the AGEOD site as physical product plus download. I downloaded both and installed both but the installations proved faulty and the games will not launch. I've now twice contacted the Help Desk via the link provided with a description of the problem and a request for help. Not only have I not received a Help Desk ticket, I've not even received acknowledgement of my emails.

Not a happy camper.

Weird..unless you sent the mail over the weekend and it got stuck in the waiting list queue. They normally respond very fast

Did you sent to: support@slitherine.co.uk

Nope. Sent it to http://www.ageod.co.uk/support - the address provided on my purchase confirmation. I'll try Slitherine if that's the necessary route.

Should work - I sent a mail to ageod-support and got the confirmation within a hour.

Wish I could say the same - but at least your experience is cause for hope.

I need to eat some humble pie here. The fact that I wasn't receiving any response from the AGEOD support team was very likely due to the fact that they were stuck with an outdated email address. I assumed that my mail to them would be directed from my current address but clearly that wasn't the case. My sincere apologies to all concerned and maligned.

Duly noted. But, not to carp, if this is the case then the messaging on your order confirmation needs to be changed accordingly.

The Help desk is unified so whoever you write to it goes to the same team. Its reskinned to the site you contacted us from though so users who don't know we're all one company get a response from the company they contacted.
