Points de commandement

Thu Oct 02, 2008 9:11 am

Bonjour,

Si tu regardes command&leaders.opt tu verras ceci:

ldrCommandMaximaRank1 = 3 // Nb of CP provided by a rank 1 leader
ldrCommandMaximaRank2 = 6 // Nb of CP provided by a rank 2 leader
ldrCommandMaximaRank3 = 9 // Nb of CP provided by a rank 3 leader
ldrCommandCap = 12 // base CP cap to a stack

Merci.

Sorry for posting in english

Leaders command points in Davout corps

9+(4x6)=33

But there is a maximum of 12, where bonus are applied

Bonus. Leaders abilities:

+ 3 (Davout good commander 1x3 level)

+ 1 (Berthier staffer)

+ 4 (Napoleon great strategist +1+(1x3 level)), according to the manual

In the tooltip Napoleon great strategist is explained as

If the Commander in Chief in the Department, provides +3 Command Point and an additional +1
per ability level, to his Force and all subordinates Corps.
in this case it should be +6. One is wrong, the tooltip or the manual

+ 2 (Gudin gifted commander) I guess is not applied as he is not the commander of the corps

Bonus. Strategic rating of the army commander

+ 4 (Napoleon's strategic rating 6-2)

So 12+3+1+4(or+6)+4=24 (or 26) But in the game is 25, so I did something wrong :mdr:

Corps detached 9

My only guess is that the maximum 12 is now 6 and +3 (Davout good commander 1x3 level). The rest of the bonus cannot be applied

If this is true the explanation of the manual is a bit confusing

Out of Command Penalty
If a Force is neither a Corps (within the Attachment Radius of its parent Army) nor an Army, it is considered to be
an Independent Force. (Units left behind to garrison cities and depots usually fall into this category.) An
Independent Force by definition is one that exists outside the normal Army/Corp command hierarchy. Being ‘Out of
Command’ causes the total number of Command Points generated by the Leaders in the Force to be halved.
For example, a 2-star Leader in a Corps that is within the Attachment Radius of its parent Army provides six (6)
Command Points. This same Leader, if present in an Independent Force, would provide only three (3) Command
Points.

With this explanation the CP should be 9+(4x6)/2=16,5
