This is too early yes because many of the features are not fixed yet. What will be there is the ability to have Crisis, between nations, where you don't exactly control what can happen. Be too aggressive when you manage the crisis, and you are left with a war, or at the very least you pass for the ruthless man (loss of Prestige).
Also we want to have very differenciated AI, which respond differently to the challenges of the world. A simple example, the British AI will take into account what was known as the Two power standard for his fleet, will despise countries potentially dangerous for this matter and will take particular measures to keep the league.
Many of the behaviors will also take into account the historical sphere of influences of each nation.

Sound good, thanks for the info :)
Later more question... :innocent:

I noticed in the Gibraltar screenshot that the "Gibraltar force" is not displayed in the usual pin format. It is displayed in a flat brown disc format. Does anyone know what this is supposed to represent?

For the first time in our games, we will propose 2 display formats. The 2D 'painting' sprite format or the 3D animated sprite format.

UAUH! your games are going better with time like a good wine. I don´t know which of them is better 2D and 3D, than you for these new feature. :king: :king:

Each display mode has its own interest:
In 3D, you have a less static display (I tend to prefer this one for the ships, but less for land forces), but you have only one model on the round base of the unit, an infantry or a ship.
In 2D, although non animated, you'll see the specific leader force portrait on the panel (as you know) or the specific unit portrait , among other things.
It's more informative, IMO.
But the choice will be yours, that is the real advantage !

Any chance we'll see a beta AAR while we await the game's release? :)

I really like the look of the 3D units and I think I will prefer that mode as long as the information is not seriously more difficult to access than the 2D pin mode. Options are always a good thing.
