That should be easy to beat.

This is for a screen shot when I learn how to do one. I've only just learnt that the second row of pretty coloured buttons do different things depending on the top row. Room for improvement still.

Almost a hundred views and no replies. Oh come on guys it only takes a few minutes; fire it up and head for Brussels and Antwerp. Or are you chicken?

I appreciate your challenge, but it is so long ago since I played this scenario; I do not remember its outcome.
Why do you care? Is this a particularly challenging situation?

Think of it as a mild diversion from whatever serious campaign you might be involved in elsewhere.

It takes less than an hour to play so you can do it in your lunch break.

If it's the Waterloo scenario, I only tried it once (this weekend, in fact) and the AI fixed my little red wagon (with a fresh coat of paint!) with astounding ease. After my initial defeat at Charleroi to Wellington I had no offensve capability left and couldn't even put up a roadblock to Blucher's march to Paris.

My Charleroi battles are usually against Blucher. And often very bloody.

Latest score - Wiggins wins Tour de France.

Hmm.. I see on further looking that you didn't get Brussels or Antwerp. Perhaps I'm just too obsessed with that. I've held them both, but then lost them.

All objectives are under french control ! apy:
(otherwise it would be impossible to gain enough morale)

To be honest, I had to restart a few turns with minor adjustments
I restructured some armys, corps and even divisions and I used a few "Military Options" e.g. "Extended Campaign" and "Napoleon is shown the Eagles" !

What surprised me was that I could take Antwerp, Liege, Amsterdam and Breda (all have level 1 forts !)
with Kellermann's 3eme Corps de Cavalerie respectively Milhaud's 4eme Corps de Cavalerie (all cavalry with 6lbs guns) in the first assault attempt !
I thought you need infantry and "bigger" guns to take forts !?

Sorry I looked at the purple coloured bit not the flags.

I guess against a real opponent I would have had no chance for a morale victory !

718 vs 207. A personal best, but still a stalemate.

Wow, this is a great result !
But it's the morale who gives you the victory not the VPs ! VPs only count when there is a stalemate.
To gain morale you have to win battles, take the objectives (morale value in brackets in the ledger) and in this specific scenario, you can use "Napoleon is shown the Eagles" morale boost.
But I'm sure you know all that

Just played a few games as Napoleon under patch 1.10 and my previous tactics of idling around till Blucher attacks don't seem to work. I'm being hammered.

Now got 690 vs 222 and my personal best now 742 vs 218. Playing 1.10a.

I'm really only posting this to get rid of that Xrumer spam like thing on most of the forum.

But, some recent lopsided battles:

French victory: Pierre Louis Binet with only 258 men versus 26,633 under Sir Henry Clinton

French defeat: Quiot with 16 men had a surprising loss against Wellington with 114,116. A close run thing.

Well I thought I would play again whilst waiting for the next WON patch.

I also noticed on Amazon UK today you can get this game for £1.99 with box and manual, only a few copies left it seems. Less than the price of a beer. you know it is worth it - and the maps are so pretty.

Well a wet windy day at Seaton - a run down English seaside town - so I decided to have a quick play and what a disaster - lost 405 to 432.

It must be an age thing - I'm getting worse at games not better.

I have just started playing this game again, and I must say that the allies ripped me to shreds. I think it is the historical situation, which is very difficult for France.
