Are the dates "locked" between 1808 and 1815?

Or is there a way to start before 1808?

Which scenario are you talking about... ? If this is the Spanish Campaign, then it cannot start 'before' 1808 ;)

I have not tried starting to far ahead. But I have adjusted some scenarios to start up to 6 weeks earlier than their regular start time. :)

AFAIK, the game engine can start as early as 1750/01/01

Note: WIA is specially constructed to start as early as 1600/01/01 to enably the very early Indian wars, but this involved a game engine change among other things
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
