Combat Speed

Mon Oct 27, 2008 4:12 am

This is my first post on these forums.
I own the original BOA and am learning the nuances of the game.
I love the game, but am not thrilled in the fact that when battle occurs it happens so fast you hardly know what happened unless the battle takes several days and you can see the meter move. My question is: Can you adjust the speed of the combat in NC? Also, I think it would be good to be able to adjust the speed when the armies move after ending your turn. Are these features in NC?

Hi!
Yes. Check the options menu and you will see options to adjust the delays of the battle display and also the time the screen spends "pointing" to the move of each stack.
I have not the game here to check and don't remember the exact name of the options. But the options tool tips explain it pretty well.

By the way, if you have not seen it by now, don't miss this excellent AAR tutorial

Welcome!

You can also adjust setting so that game pauses after any combat resolution: you'll have all time you need to examine after combat report in detail. :neener:
