Updated NCP Manual Available

Fri Dec 14, 2007 5:38 pm

The NCP manual has been updated and expanded in an effort to better serve the growing number of Napoleon's Campaigns devotees.

Many thanks to Henry D and the Beta Team members who participated in the process.

In page 43 of the vastly improved new manual is a tantalizing piece of text: a narrative battle report with simple information derived directly from the information from a screen after a battle (see below). More than once this has been said in these forums, but something like this would go a very long way in increasing even more the "flavor" and immersion of ageod games.

Again, great job in this manual !!

It is precisely this type of dedication to constant improvement that makes buying an AGEOD game a wise investment for any true gamer.

Many thanks for all the kind words. The approach taken with this updated manual was to document answers to questions that players were likely to ask and give everyone a "peek under the hood" as far as NPC gameplay was concerned.

Much of the complexity of Napoleon's Campaigns is behind the scenes. Players won't always see it necessarily, but it's there. To that extent, I hope I have lifted the veil to a degree and at least made the game more accessible.

And once again, thanks are due in large part to the Beta team members who assisted in its development.

I think the new version of the manual makes it easier to understand the game's different concepts. Well done gentlemen!

Good work!

Shouldn't a link to this be added under OTHER FILES & DOWNLOADS?

Pocus or Korrigan? Thanks.

I think, Pocus plans to include the new manual as a pdf in patch 1.03 at the latest...

Hola Lex!

The updated manual is not translated, sorry.
The Spanish retail version of the game has a translated paper version of the original manual.
If you have any doubt, you can ask on spanish on the Spanish subforum

Saludos!
