JSGME Mod Enabler use question

Is it possible, using the mod enabler (keeping directory structure within the mod correct) to make changes to the setup file of a scenario, cvs split it to the approriate mod directory and test it?

This would avoid the rigamarole of also splitting events and cities and creating a new scenario, which I am sure to somehow mess up.

This would also allow for incremental testing, by renaming the mod. If there's anything I've learned about computer wargame scenario design, even with easier to use tools, it is that you must test often. Every time I thought I was on a roll and did alot of work, I made a mistake somewhere, which was difficult to find.

When I know the changes work, I can tackle turning it into a new scenario, but I want an easy way to discover where my mistakes are, along the line.

Yes, and I use this to simplify the process of splitting all 3 parts of a setup when only one part has changed...

My real visage would turn people to stone :niark:

I like your ideas, keep them coming, but be patient as we first get the kinks out....

Hmm. Burgoyne arrives in Halifax? With transports?

Transports are an issue, for the Brits in 76...
They had to refit some, and send some back to pick up subsequent waves. Halifax was the only major refitting port in North America, and would be a good location to initially send convoys to (orders set in advance) and then decide where to send them.

but this is getting off topic...Whare are the American Frigates?
