How would you model this in game?

Not sure how to do this since there can't be Generals withing Divisions can there? Guess I could just do the actual units and just drop the generals.

o 3rd Regiment, North Carolina Artillery (6 companies)
* Contingent of Lt. Col. James H. Rion:
o 11th South Carolina
o 21st South Carolina
o 25th South Carolina
o 27th South Carolina
o 7th South Carolina Battalion
* Contingent of Lt. Col. John D. Taylor (w):
o 2nd Regiment-1st Battalion North Carolina Artillery
o Adams's Battery (Company D, 13th Battalion, North Carolina Light Artillery)
* Contingent of Maj. William A. Holland:
o 40th North Carolina

Each contingent would be a brigade, with those generals listed as brigade commanders, but not showing up as actual units.

Sorry, should have been more specific. What I did was just drop the Commander because the Order of Battle displays it as such (the only one like this):

Hoke's Division - Robert F. Hoke commanding
**Hagood's Bde - Joseph Hagood
****3rd Regiment, North Carolina Artillery (6 companies)
****Contingent of Lt. Col. James H. Rion:
*****11th South Carolina
*****21st South Carolina
*****25th South Carolina
*****27th South Carolina
*****7th South Carolina Battalion
****Contingent of Lt. Col. John D. Taylor (w):
*****2nd Regiment-1st Battalion North Carolina Artillery
*****Adams's Battery (Company D, 13th Battalion, North Carolina Light Artillery)
****Contingent of Maj. William A. Holland:
*****40th North Carolina

OK, what I would do is count each contingent as a regiment. So Hagood's brigade would contain four regiments:

3rd NC Art.
7th, 11th, 21st, 25th, & 27th SC - Lt. Col. Rion commanding
2/1 & 13/D NC Art. - Lt. Col. Taylor commanding
40th NC - Maj. Holland commanding

That might not be accurate in terms of manpower, esp. with Rion's contingent, and the names are a little unwieldy; but it at least provides a way to fit this organization into a standardized framework.

Thanks, that seems like a better approach than the one I took. I am going to change it to your suggestion.
