Representing Supply

Hi folks, I want to represent a small amount of fast moving supply, not bulky supply wagons. Are the only important factors here the IsSupport, Supply and Ammo Store and the ShareSupply parameters?

If I change the SubType from $SupplyType to $Irregular and the family from $famSupply to $famRaider can I expect the unit to still act as a supply source with no ill effects?

Thanks, Chris

I think you have parameters OK

Why not just change the move type to $Ranger, and increase the Move Ratio?

I'd leave family/subtype alone. Those get into replacements, etc. and could cause problems...

Well Pontiac's War has no replacements at least. The move type is $Ranger. The only reason I ask is that Indian Trader Supply in a stack prevents the Indians taking an ambush posture when the supply really just represents the Indians having a few more provisions and ammo.

I'll give it a go and see if there are any problems.
Cheers, Chris

As you are in simple supply, then for most effects I think it is ok to have a supply unit which is not of family $famSupply. For advanced supply games, you could not do that though.
