Irregular Unit Problem?

Hi folks, there is a bug outlined below that I mentioned to Pocus and Lodi.
I thought I might be able to get around the problem by changing a field on the model that prevents Indians from capturing certain structures but I can't see such a field. I assume this problem would affect all units with an $Irregular SubType then?
I have found a bug in WiA which I assume will be present in all AGEOD games. I have burn fort set to 100% for SetScorchEarthInos in the Pontiac scenario. If I assault a fort with Indians and they lose the battle but wipe out the fort garrison the fort will not be burnt. The Indians are unable to attack an empty fort and they cannot enter it.
If the region is an objective region it will remain in British hands and the Indians are unable to do anything about it. I assume this will be the case in any game where units have similar restrictions to Indians.
Cheers, Chris

Found the answer for the WIA stockades:
The parameter "PillagerCanCapture = 1" was omitted from the structure definition.

Scorch the other guys earth!!!

Hah!
I found it!!!!
The SetScorchEarthInfos parameters you set apply
to the opposite faction!!
As soon as I set the GBR SetScorchEarthInfos 'burn fort' to 100%, then things happened. Ft. Venango and Ft. Sandusky vanished as soon as garrison was destroyed.
Please change your setup to reflect this. I'm sure we need more testing, but this appears to be the 'right track'
Note the wording in:
http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=6047&highlight=scorch
This is a factional rule which give these benefits to the faction having it, when an enemy take over a region with structures
Makes sense: Scorched Earth is a Defenders policy, not the attackers!!!!

Hi Lodi, I'm sorry I somehow missed this post.
I have both sides scorched earth policy set to 100% but still most stockades
just sit there empty but in British hands. This is turning into a scenario killer for me
I'll play around with it some more and let you know.

Aha, I've finally realised that it is the Indian leaders that prevent the stockades from being burnt! Take them away from the stack and there are no
problems.
So now we need to find why an irregular stack with a leader will not burn.
Any ideas?
Many thanks, Chris

Argh.
Test one thing please: try a different leader or two.
I see nothing obvious, but some leaders have slightly differing parameters...

It seems the same with all the Indian leaders I have tried. I'll take another look tomorrow evening. Not such a big problem now for my scenario at least - phew!

Hi folks, I'm getting a bit confused about when a stockade should be burnt.
Are the following correct :-
An Irregular only stack will burn a stockade if they have < 50% control of a region?
A leader with the Pillager trait will allow any units to burn a stockade?
SetScorchEarthInfos: A friendly unit will attempt to burn a stockade if it loses control of a region (If a unit is wiped out in battle will it automatically burn the structure it is in if set to 100%? - not seen any evidence of this working)
Cheers, Chris
