Event activation question

Fri Aug 15, 2008 11:15 am

Suppose an event is scheduled to occur one time per scenery: column D, Param0 = 1; and its edited probability is 50%.

What will happen as regard event triggering?

Will that event be checked for occurance any turn till it will be activated for first and unique time.
Or when checked active we'll have a 50% chance it'll be actually occur, and a 50% change it'll not activate in the scenery?

Actually, you can have it either way :siffle:

To have it keep checking until it occurs, either have no Date or 'MinDate' or 'MinDate and MaxDate'.

To give it only one chance in the scenario, occurs in 50% of the games played, give it 'FixedDate'

Even more fun is Param0 = 999, with no dates
Then it happens 50% of the time every turn...
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
