Map editor question

I could not even figure out how to load a BoA map so I trashed the map editor. Now I am thinking about editing NCP map. Any tips on just getting the map to load would be appreciated, along with backup suggestions.

Do you want to edit the rgn files (i.e. the region data) or the graphic file...for the latter, you need a very powerful PC and photoshop (and off course the file itself)... for the former, you need the latest version of our Exmap editor and all the correct files (regions and terrains).

I want to edit region data. Perhaps add/change some areas and add some towns.
Towns and areas I see mentioned as Landwehr homes are not appearing on the map.
