Adding Generals - Where?

Mon Nov 19, 2007 6:51 pm

Is it ok to add them to the reserved section of the units file? I had started inserting them with the other generals but then I noticed the UID column.

I am adding some generals that (obviously :) ) aren't in the game. I used random place holders until now. I asked before but nobody ever really answered if I had to add them at the end of the file or if I can overwrite the reserved rows. I am assuming, though could be completely wrong, that the reserved rows are for custom units? I haven't had time to work on it until today since the last time I posted about it.

Reserved rows are reserved for AGEOD, so you won't constantly have to redo your work.

So, create new units, and models, plus add events for them to appear in game. Add units by creating a new line in the XLS files (copy and paste), this is the easiest, and best way to do things (instead of messing around with the TXT files).
