So what about the Attrition Issue?

The thread has gotten so long and detailed that trying to read it and follow the discussion is giving me a head ache. So where are we headed with this? Seems to be lots of opinions. Is Pocus on board? Will there be official changes? I'm using Jagger's mod for attrition at present. Will that be close to the final thing? Hope someone can just summerise the thread.
