It was the time of the key battle of Mursa, concluding a campaign of another civil war between Romans, which bled white the Roman army. Almost 60,000 valid and experienced Roman troops died on this fateful battle...they would be sorely missed a few years later, be it versus the Persians (Sassanids) or the German invaders (Goths)
