Historic Proof of Stratagem Cards

I just read the following from Oman's 'The Art of War in the Middle Ages' -
"Finally, either through exhaustion or through a Scottish stratagem, the entire English front broke to pieces, and the defeat became a rout."
Would that have been the Bad Omen Stratagem, or maybe Cowardice?
