ACW will greately fit conditions for cooperative on-line game.
Imagine the April 1861 Grandcampaign played a 3 agains 3 on-line players.
Per any side, Union & Confederate, we could have a first player responsible for war effort duty: he'll manage economical and production aspects, the raising of new units, the theater were forces will be adresses for operative use.
The other two players will be in charge of war operations on the two fronts: Eastern Theater & Central-Western Theater.
While these two players will decide how and where employ their armies within own Theater of competence, they will depend on the first player as regard new units and replacements availability.
Message exchange will be part of gaming.
According to an example, first player, the Overal Commander, could sollecitate the Eastern Theater Commander to launch an offensive granting new forces and replacements. He could grant even more support when planned results are achived. Later support will probably drop if scheduled objectives will not be achieved, and probebly the Overal Commander will give major support to the Central-Western Theater Commander.
