Just two minor things ...

In the first line, wouldn't "who" is feeling passed over be better? He's a man, not a thing.

In the last line, shouldn't it read "who has more than 4 seniority points less than ..."? Presently, the sentence doesn't seem to make much sense.

It's ok, we do not mind on the contrary to improve the texts of the game.

They have been reread several time by native speakers though, but I guess that, with the amount of text to proofread, some discrepancies can slip through.

The last sentence makes perfect sense for me, what's wrong? As it says, to be passed over you check who is the general with the highest seniority, then you add 4.

"more" is OK, as low numbers mean high seniority.

I see! But then it should read "who has more than 4 seniority points more than".

(The first "more" means it can be 4, or more than 4; the second is the direct comparison, "more than" the other guy. So it's a necessary repetition.)

Or to avoid the repetition of "more than", it could read "who has at least 4 seniority points more than".

That's not that, I would say

"You pass over a leader if you promote a leader who has at least 4 seniority points less than the most senior commander of a given rank."

ie the most senior has a seniority rank of 3, you pass over him if you promote someone with 7 or more.

By the way you missed 'loose' which should be 'lose'

If he has 4 seniority points less, he has the higher rank regarding seniority, hasn't he?

That's what I thought, but as Primasprit says, the system works downwards, i.e. a higher number is less seniority.

But since most people will think of a lower seniority (as you did) when we say "less" points, maybe let's say "lower" instead, which is unambiguous.

So how about "You pass over a leader if you promote a leader whose seniority is at least 4 points lower than that of the most senior commander of that rank."?

Wait, I really think I got it now.

"You pass over the most senior commander of a given rank if his seniority is at least four points better than the one of the commander you promote. (A lower number is better.)"
