Tennessee State Militia?

Where is it?
The event where both sides field their state militias, Tennessee has none. This gives an advantage to the Federals as Tennessee has also a very low cap for volunteers also.

Yup, you are right. Tennessee formed the Provisional Army, which was the largest State force in the CSA in the early war period. Most of those Provisional troops and units eventually entered CSA Army service.

The Provisional Army actually is the main Confederate Army. That is to say there was the Regular Army (very small), the Provisional Army (raised from the various States) and Militia forces.

Yes, and Tennessee had the largest initially, which is the point you were making. The Provisional Army of Tennessee was a State entity and did not initially belong to the CSA central government.

So what you guys are saying is that the A.S. Johnston's Army of Mississippi included the Tennessee State Militia?
Then it's not represented in the 1861 April campaign as IIRC CSA has only 1 brigade (1st TN Bde - understrenght, 1 regt of infantry) and receives due events 2 more understrenght brigades (II/2nd and another 1st TN Bde) and 2 Cavalry regts ( both designed as 1st Tennessee).
That's 3 regiments of Infantry and 2 of Cavalry. Is that enough?

I think the main issue here is that you can't field hardly any Militia in TN. And given the fact it's one of the states that are in the frontline - it's a major issue when those Union cavalry raiders are getting trough.

Yes, that was exactly my point. The federals can overthrow Kentucky and Tennessee pretty easily because of this and (if no FOW bonus for AI) the raiders provide good intel for the Union.

exactly - AGEOD should solve the issue for the upcoming patch.
There's hardly any use of creating the army of the Tenessee when nearly all your cities are "unguarded" and the Union can cross through your state with their cavalry.
For the moment, you can build some Confederate cavalry in Tenessee.
