See post #7 in this thread. If it's the same issue, the fix is there.

If there is an important bug, I can always propose a fixed EXE, but this is true that I delegated to Steve the handling of data inconsistencies and improvements. Sorry for that, but you know... VGN must be done, and well done, to have this whole adventure continue :)

This is just a small, graphical issue. Delete the file as Steve says, and you are good. If there is only that as a bug, then a fixed EXE can wait :)

I am delighted to find work ongoing for this great game a year after medical school enforced a lengthy absence from my hard drive. I notice that several forts are having their adjacencies adjusted, presumably to meet fulfill the bombardment DAR. May I point out several other adjacency shortfalls in 1.15 that I do not see addressed here, or are such changes done and done-er?

I think I found a bug. I did a search on the bug subject and didn't find anything so forgive me if this has been reported. I'm playing as the south in 1.16 RC4 and when I choose to embargo cotton, the game penalizes me multiple times for the same decision. I immediately loose the 150$ and then loose the money next turn as well. I also receive the boosts but the game only resolves one intervention change.

Edit: you meant for me to attach the files here, didn't you. Forgive me, I've attached them.

In the testing I did to make sure I wasn't mistaken before I posted the file, I found that I could turn off the political option in the current turn even after it had subtracted the money from the original selection turn. De selecting it gave me back the money for that turn.

Hi Lodilefty

Is there any word on when this patch is made official? Seems a while since there has been any movement. Im sure you are all very busy but it does seem very close to being a final patch surely?

Thanks for all the great work!

Oh, I wasn't aware, I hope that he makes a full recovery and that it isn't too serious. Thanks Gray

Sorry to be a bother. Arecent post pointed out some issues with certain scenario setups. For instance, the western scenarios include Union troops in Ft Pickens & New Orleans, but no transports in the shipping box to supply them . Will this be fixed in 1.16?

I think I found a bug. I beseiged Winchester as the north. I breached the city, assaulted it, took it, entered the city the same turn, Then beauregard moves into Winchester's region, and beseiges my force. This all hapens over the course of a single turn. beauregard starts out with my city totally breached and I suspect the breached state of the city doesn't reset until the end of the turn.

Now maybe my guys didn't have time to re-fortify the town but I suspectnthis is a bug.

Do we have an update on how Lodilefty is doing?

And if he is unable to complete the work, is there an alternative of his providing the source codes to someone else to complete the final official patch?

Godspeed, Lodi, wherever you may be.

Regards.

Confederates do not have profit from piracy. Messages are present, but in reality there is no profit. North profits from the trade.

River of Death

Wed Apr 27, 2011 2:36 am

I have just confirmed in 1.16, that the lower Colorado River is still a death trap for ships. There is no link for ships to leave the river and sail to Matagorda bay. But ships can move from Matagorda bay into the lower Colorado river. They can move from the lower to the middle Colorado and vice versa. I can post a save game if needed.

I've been back on a Civil War reading kick, and I'll probably make a pilgrimage out to Gettysburg soon.

(But I fear I am derailing the thread...)
