Redesign the division creation process

Fri Apr 11, 2008 2:51 pm

This is just a follow up to my post in the strategy forum.

The division creation process needs to be redesigned down to one button with far more tooltips/hints. I am a hardcore wargamer and I have never been more frustrated over a non-intuitive feature like this one.

There is a great game lurking past the army organization process however if AGEOD wants to expand their market and attract more new users they need to seriously make this process simplier or provide a significant amount of handholding via tooltips for new users.

The forums on here are a tremendous help but this is not a logical way to tackle a poor game design feature. I hope this gets addressed and fixed.

It's sort of the AACW bicycle... Once you know it, you know it.

It works and it works well. Hope you're having fun.

took the words right out of my mouth.... :D
Once you've got it....you'll look back and laugh upon your frustration. Great games have learning curves...I firmly believe the rest are for the kids...call me an elitist I guess.... :innocent:

Yes, I am also finding the process much simplier now that I understand it better.

My point however was that you don't need to sacrifice intuitive mechanics or adequate in game help on a feature that is far more complicated than corps creation.

I am quite new to this game and several things are still a mystery to me, but creating divisions seems fairly simple and straightforward ... one click on the "plus" button? :innocent:
