1862 Early Feb - Confederacy - Foreign entry event triggered - no French army to be seen? Clicking on the message in the log navigates to Larado, which is empty.

Next go, the French intervention in Mexico event triggered and an French force appeared in Vera Cruz but remained locked. No other French forces appeared on the continent.

Mmh I believe this is WAD, but not 100% sure

This small french army appears locked once French intervention appears -> Around 6 brigades -> these cant move until attacked.

Some months ahead (perhaps 6 months not sure).. a few more troops appear in the same place.

Also, some small brigs start getting out for free (from some caribbean islands)

Yes it is WAD...the French army at the time was fully committed to the Mexican Expedition and Napoleon III's France could not have fielded another valid force even if it wanted it...one main reason for the withdrawal from Mexico in 1867 was the looming war with Prussia and France assessment she did not have an army left at home...
