Allow merge tabs anywhere on map

When clicking on a region to see all the units, I often move to another location on the map where I want to move them. Even though you can still see the original list of units, you cannot drag and drop or merge the tabs of units unless you go back to their region.

Any way to improve this and make it easier?

I have no problem doing this, with a small exception from time to time for units located inside structures.

No problem swicthing tab, moving units from tab to tab or merging tabs.

You can merge the tabs only if you are viewing that specific region where the units are.

Try moving your map to a different location, where you might want to move them, and then try to merge the tabs. I can't do it. Won't let me.

I've never had a problem doing it, no matter where the map is centered. I can see how not being able to do it would be an issue though, since it's pretty much indispensable for me.

Is it possible to make the glowing red merging icon bigger?
It is sometimes difficult to see when the icon is present.
