River crossing "under guns"

In my last game I was briefly frustrated by being unable to cross a river (the Ohio, in this particular case) due to it being "under enemy guns". The only real problem with this is that it's difficult to tell exactly where the river is or isn't under enemy guns.

Could an icon possibly be added to the river areas that are under guns?
