Percentage in Stack Panel

Does anyone know what the percentage that sometimes appears in the Stack panel indicates?

Command penalty; you do not have enough officers in your stack to provide sufficient command for your units; in your case, it looks like you are 3 CPs short and will therefore suffer a 15% combat penalty.

If you hover your mouse button over it, you'll get a tooltip with info about it

Thanks for the quick reply. The mystery is now solved. Neither the tool tip or manual seems to directly define that percentage indicator.

A lot of nice improvements from the the later games like AACW and NCP were back ported to BOA1. However, BOA1 was updated much more frequently than the game manual was. So, there are probably a few things here and there missing from the manual. Although most new features did get addressed in release notices (README.TXT) that comes with each patch. Probably a good idea to skim through that to find stuff that's missing from the user manual.

I shall have to rephrase that a bit, since I hadn't realized this was for BoA (1).

Barring some unforeseen event, there won't be any more patches for BoA, and if there is, it will most likely only be fixing critical errors, which updating a tooltip text can't be considered to be. Still, since this is something used in many of our games, it is still worth looking into for the other ones.

My apologies for any ungrounded expectations I may have caused.
