Montcalm leaves Quebec every time in 1759 scenario

Montcalm marching out of Quebec in the Anno Mirabilis scenarion evry time and heads north leaving Quebec lightly defended. What is the reason behind it? Was it historical, I dont remember so. Also, Im playing on normal level AI agressiveness and difficulty. Thanks for the replies

The request and remark was duly noted. We shall work some improvement on that AI behavior for the upcoming BOA2 game. Thanks :indien:

Hello, cheers for the reply. I thought it was WAD. It does make capturing Quebec a bit easier though, although even with the smaller garrison it is not 100% certain that Wolfe does capture Quebec on the first turn of disembarkation. On second thought, Montcalm camping outside of the fortress (him expecting hte attack from north of the city) would be fairly historical. :innocent:
