Getting accustomed to weekly patches?

That depends if I have finished the tweaking on the AI. Perhaps...

That's right, you have spoiled us now, so there is no going back.

You should know by now that us wargamers are a cantankerous bunch.

Weekly patches are too long and poor service. Lets push for two a week please.

Man, if I could get my hands on those AI improvements by this weekend, I'd be happier than a dyslectic in a palindromic world.

Pocus, if it makes you fell any better, I spent last evening installing Windows XP on my new Mac notebook. (Apple released a beta program yesterday that makes the process relatively painless.) My first Windows-on-Mac test game? BoA.
Runs great by the way.

It seems you can choose whether to use WinXP or Mac OS each time you start up.

Not to hijack this thread, but, yep, Intel Macs can now dual boot either OS. Windows runs natively on a separate partiition. No performance loss that I can see.

This is going to make me very happy next time I buy my next computer. No more Mac for work and PC for games!

new update on 1.06: the patch will not be ready this week end. Sorry for that but I'm now in the precise tweaking of AI parameters, with 90% of the job done, but still some works to do. If I release it now, you won't see an improvement because of the 10% lacking (what you would gain from the rewrite of some algorithms would be lost by the lack of fine tuning of others).
Try the Strategic Command 2 demo, play Civ4 on Deity level, whatever, and by tuesday 1.06 will be there

No problems, I need to go back and replay the FIW since I played the campaign using ver1.2.

the 1.06 should be there for beta this evening, but I don't feel to release it directly to everybody for now. These AI tweaks take a long time...

I'm quite new around here, but I'm also already a rather spoiled brat in regard of Your marvellous ongoing efforts to make this fine game a perfect one (and yeah, I'm kind of a bootlicker, too

) so please don't mind me asking:
When might us lesser beings expect the public release of patch 1.06? And will it include this nice "You get Your artillery/supplywagons back after disbanding a fort/depot" feature You've been talking about lately?

Can we expect patch 1.07 this weekend?
