I spent an enjoyable couple of hours playing this - I used patch 1.12a which some say is the last good patch which I got from a place called patches scrolls de - a German site. I imagine for casual play the legacy patch 1.13 from here would be fine for most people - myself too really.

Short scenarios - I love them.

Well another year slips by so I had a quick play of the Nathaniel Greene scenario.

Score victory, but not a proper victory.

I actually have a physical copy of the manual and looking through it just now I see that my generalship is on a par with Gage, Webb, and Murray ; i.e. - No Abilities
