I was wondering if at the begging of the revolution if the americans are very understrengthed (don't think thats a word, anyway you get what im saying) seeing as they historically were?? sorry if this has been asked and already explained.

By understrengthed, are you referring to Americans being outnumbered in terms of the number of men, or to the quality and skill of the American army compared to the British?

Well then yes, that is definitely the case in the game. In fact, there's another thread talking about how easy it is for the British under Gage at the start of the '75 campaign are able to go on the offensive and fight Washington's army. In terms of quality of troops, the Americans are way understrengthed in this game at the beginning.

In terms of the number of troops, at the very start in 1775, the Americans outnumber the Brits for the first several months. Then when 1776 rolls around and the British start getting their huge main armies from England, the British have the numerical superiority. They probably will keep it until 1779 or so, or later depending on how many American units they destroy by that time and how many they lose themselves.
