Intercepting

What options are available for intercepting? I read in another thread that you can target an enemy stack, but does this mean your unit will follow the enemy, or will it just go to the space where the enemy was when you gave the order?

Also, is there any way to have your units perform some sort of automatic intercepting? E.g., I have some light infantry units in Albany--can I have them automatically intercept enemy units moving past them? If not, this might be a useful feature. There would of course have to be some time penalties to represent the delay from receiving information on the enemy's wherebouts to actually getting on the move.

each time you arrive in a new region with your intercepting stack, the hosting module recalculate where is the enemy, provided you still see it, and then make your army head toward the new location. The computing is not made until you arrive in a new region though, radar has still to be invented ;)

the 2nd option is not there, and won't be before long for land units, I would say its even a gameplay decision of some sort. As for naval units, there is something like that planned on the other hand, but no promises for 1.08 though...
