Not all of them, but it was pretty close. Why did Lee attacked Gettysburg? He needed food. The battle started because Confederate infantry were hunting shoes. The Confederacy was in dire straits, and losing the connection to Texas didn't help.

Who cares? It doesn't detract from the overall awesomeness of this game! Well done, calvinus! Everyone celebrate in a tradition unique to your country (which, here in the US, involves lousy beer, which everyone thinks is delicious).

that's something to come out in extensive multiplayering I think :) eg. the entire russian and french army getting a pre-turn is not something to threat lightly even against the AI, let alone a human player! E.g. I have a stack in Basra. I want to chase out an enemy along the road heading northwest, but there is another enemy next to it. I want to head back to Basra so the Turk can't sneak behind me and nab Basra.
Now that I think about it, movement stops at combat, so it's not possible...

circular marching

In AGE engine games, holding shift makes it possible to march through the starting place. Is there a way to do this in WW1:LGG?

Building on the naval stuff: I have problems moving ships. For example, I have a game where I have an Italian fleet in a port (Bari?) on the Adriatic coast. I can move it into any coastal zone, but no matter what I do, I can't move it into the big zone that is the Adriatic, where an A-H fleet is. Li...

Everyone should buy multiple copies of Vicky 2. If it shows a profit, Frederik (the Paradox CEO) will shave his head and post the pictures on the forum. Then we can sell our extra copies on e-Bay (probably a bigger market than GG or Steam) and use the money to buy VGN. What do you think?

Those militia can only be "replaced" by adding two militia regiments together. The database is scripted so that such elements are never automatically added.
