The first post says it correctly; it's 5 posts

Luckily, we are so quickly approaching the singularity that we have systems that handle this automagically ]If we pass muster do we get an email or are previous restricted areas suddenly thrown open? [/QUOTE] Previously restricted functionality becomes available, no e-mail notification, though.
WildCat wrote:A necessary job, alas, but doubtless the spammers will falter and fail against such stalwart defences.
They have indeed faltered and failed :-) Though some still get through, the results we got from putting these restrictions in place were by far good enough to justify keeping them.

No worries, guys, I just wanted to voice my unhappiness with the term "dumbed down".

Now, let's return to our scheduled programming :)

Guys, in any case "dumbed down" is such a loaded expression. "March of the Eagles" will surely have a different emphasis, scope and appeal than NC2 would've had, but implying that the game (and its gamers?) are "downdumbed" isn't very respectful of their intelligence and tastes :)

It's not very emphasized, but every page has a link to "AGEOD website" near the bottom.. Personally, I would like the big AGEOD logo at the top to link to the website, but we'll have to see what happens when we revisit the forum appearance

We will be revisiting the forum's color scheme. The details of that, how, what, where and whatnot, is something that we'll have to get back to at a later point in time.

Forum upgraded (Was: Forum upgrade on the horizon)

FYI: Friday June 15th, we'll be upgrading the forum software. It's a fairly small upgrade and the downtime should be minimal, probably something like 10 minutes or so, all in all. The upgrade will probably take place pre-lunch time, European time; you'll see a closed forum with an explanatory notice...

So, the hacking forced you to re-register?

Hi! Unfortunately, due to the hacking of the forum's user information a while ago, some of you were unable to use the forum's password reset functionality, due to e.g. having an outdated e-mail address associated with your forum account. Personally, I think this sucks. I don't know what I'd do if I ...
