Out of area penalties seem to be working for the Reds. When the anarchist units are sent outside of Ukraine, they lose all their cohesion in one turn. The Cossacks, too, if I remember correctly, pretty quickly lose their cohesion out of region, at least for the Reds.

Music never turns off?

In the Media options of the Main Menu, I tried to put a delay or turn off the music, but it continued with no delay. I like the music, but the player should be able to turn it off. Thanks for another amazing game! EDIT: please disregard this. I accidentally had two iterations of the game running at ...

Small typo

Beautiful game!

I noticed a small typo: 'soldiers' is misspelled in "The Russian soliders, disillusion with years of privations..." in "The Russian Mutiny" in the Political Options.

Again, this is only a small typo--I just want to help make this amazing game perfect!

I like this idea. A general strategy of pushing war supply with something that you can get for a lot of war supply that doesn't cost as much money. I don't know what would cost less but take up a lot of steel/guns/material. Higher quality rifles, perhaps? Machine guns?

You can also sometimes change this MC threshold by sending a cavalry or other mobile unit into the area that is red for your main force.

RUS is an amazing game which is, as others noted, fully patched. You asked if people play in single player or PBEM. I would say the pinnacle of enjoyment with AGEOD games are PBEM, but I have also spent countless hours of enjoyable single player games in RUS. I found that playing the Reds is the mos...

Shouldn't Republican militia forces be labeled as such?

I have been enjoying this game quite a bit recently. After playing the Nationalists, I am now playing as the Republicans. I was surprised to see that the militia forces icons carry the line infantry symbol instead of the typical militia symbol with the "M". Given that the militia forces are much inf...

Rail Pool costs/benefits mislabeled

I should say first that I love this game. I noticed while playing the Nationalists, that the Political Option (F4) includes "Recomplete the Rail Pool." The costs listed are $100 and 50 WS, and it says you will get 200 Rail Points. In fact, though, when you do the option the costs and benefits are mu...

Replay bug shows enemy power when it should not

I love having replay back in the game, but I noticed that it currently shows all of the enemies' stacks' power rating, even if you can't see what the power is during the normal turn (because the stack's Hide factor is too high). So currently if you see an enemy stack next to your army, and you can't...

The penalty a commander gets from forming a division or corps only lasts one turn. (It reflects the temporary organizational distractions of the new formation.) You definitely want to get your best commanders to be the divisional or corps generals.

Thus could be an elegant solution. What is the background wear and tear for RRs? 5% of total each turn correct? You could add a few % for formations over a certain weight (our use the big stack/little stack cutoff that seems to be used in spotting and cav calculations.) This is a good idea, but wou...

Just in case someone else was as confused as I was on how to do the replay feature that has been added back in to the game, how to do it is described in the designer patch update notes: Console-based Replay feature makes a comeback (experimental support!). I love red guards. They can seep around enemy st...

You can only have a certain number (depending on the faction and scenario) of the same order up at the same time. So if the max is six, and you have six requisitions and six conscriptions, the only one that will show is reform/checka (unless you already have six of that, too).

So basically, a corps with an inactive leader can still march to the guns but has less chance of marching to the guns than if the leader had been active. That makes sense. Being inactive is not one of the factors listed in the GameLogic.opt file. The GameLogic file has a great number of adjustable ...

No more power indicated in battle results screen?

Perhaps I am just not seeing it. In all the other AGEOD games, the battle results screen shows two little scales for the combatants, one of which shows the power of their troops. I found this to be one of the more useful bits of information on these result screens, since the power indicated there wa...

According to the GameLogic.ini file, you don't need any MC in a region in order to retreat into it:

This is probably in the manual, but I thought I would pass it on just in case others didn't realize this. After growing to love the weather map filter in AJE, on a whim I tried it in RUS. It worked!
