Re: Mouse Sensitivity

AGEod does not have it's own mouse settings. What ever you have set in Windows is what you are using in the game.

If you have a Logitech mouse, you can have different settings for when playing CW2 than the default, but I don't know that you can do that with Windows alone.

Re: Various difficulty settings and options

To borrow GF's template ;) On Media: Regroup armies -Off <== ON bc you can always un-group, but never manually regroup; YMMV. What it really means, is that at a glance view of the map, multiple stacks appear as one stack. Clicking on the "top" stack however, puts all stacks into the Stack ...

Re: In-Game Console Support?

I honestly don't know, and as I said, I don't have the game installed at the moment. I do know an absolute solution though. You can always add your own one-time events to manipulate any values you wish. Simply edit one of the script files (making a backup of the original is ofc your own responsibili...

I don't have WON installed at the moment (needed extra disk space quickly :p ). Just start the game and load any scenario, and open the console. If the command is there, you can use it.

Re: Various difficulty settings and options

If you set Detection above low bonus, Athena 'sees' all kinds of locations, which your are not garrisoning strongly way behind the front lines (in range of her stacks), and plot attacks vs them, which is very opportunistic, and mostly of little value, other than to make you jump around to counter th...

*ugh* This event could have been so much better. It fires on the 1st of April (telling?) 1864, and raises inflation by 15% and gives the player $75k. Pop-up text: The Confederate Currency Reform Act reduced the money supply in the Eastern Confederacy. The Confederate government passed this Reform Ac...

ummm... there are no two Phils anymore. Phil Thibaut is no longer with AGEOD :( As to Athena, Athena was coined by Aphrodite Mae, from my understanding, many moons ago. Ofc Pocus can choose a name as he wishes, but I think the forums will ultimately decide on her nom de guerre. I may wind up calling...

Okay, sorry. I thought you were thinking along the lines of Civil War II Gold.

Pocus already said something about only doing database changes for that, so no changes in the engine.

We'll see what the new engine brings...

Re: My greatest wish for Civil War2

While I agree, that would be really great to have, with the current engine, it's not possible. Many things in the engine use days for their takt. For example, loss and gain of cohesion is calculated daily for each element(!!)--yes, kids, don't try this at home  But unfortunately, some paramet...

Basically it adds a 50% chance of the event failing, to what ever other conditions are present. The script engine goes through the Conditions section from top to bottom, and if all statement are Boolean "True", then the event fires successfully and does what is in the Actions section. A qu...

If you haven't saved your turn-plans yet, and you don't mind losing the plans you have already made, simply reload the save you just loaded, and everything will be back to the way it was before you merged the two stacks.

In AACW McCulloch was promotable, up to Maj. Gen. IIRC I read, this was not carried over to CW2, bc he had never lead a formation larger than about the size of a division at the time of his death. BTW he was killed during the battle of Pea Ridge, not Wilson's Creak. First off, AGEod is not directly ...

Simply 'hot-seat' the game. Load a running scenario as one faction, issue your orders and save them. Then load the next faction you wish to play, and issue orders for it, etc. etc., until you have issued orders for all the factions you wish to play. When the turn is executed, and factions without or...
